5 Jacksonville Wedding Venues for an Elevated Florida Wedding

Bride and groom during an elegant Florida wedding

If you are searching for Jacksonville wedding venues, these are five I would absolutely have on your list.

One of my favorite things about weddings in Jacksonville is how many completely different options we have here. You can get married surrounded by gardens, right on the water, inside a historic estate, or in a space that feels modern and completely your own.

While I haven’t photographed weddings at every venue on this list yet, these are a few Jacksonville spaces that stand out to me from a photographer’s perspective for their setting, light, architecture, and the kind of wedding experience they can offer.

And while I obviously care about how a venue photographs, there is so much more to choosing the right one than finding a pretty backdrop.

What I Would Look for in a Jacksonville Wedding Venue

Do you want everyone together for the entire weekend? Do you picture an outdoor ceremony? Do you want something classic and elegant or something that feels a little more modern?

I also want my couples thinking about the things that are easy to overlook at first. Where will you get ready? Is there plenty of natural light? Are there good portrait locations without having to leave the property? What happens if Florida decides to rain at exactly 4:00?

The venue should be beautiful, of course.

Before you fall in love with a ceremony space on Instagram, think about how you actually want your wedding day to feel.

But more importantly, it should make sense for the wedding you want to have.

The Cummer Museum of Art and Gardens

The Cummer is easily one of the Jacksonville venues at the top of my list.

The gardens are gorgeous, you have the river right there, and there is such a beautiful mix of architecture, greenery, and art throughout the property.

Why I Love the Cummer for a Wedding

There is so much variety here without needing to leave the property.

You can have beautiful garden portraits, something a little more editorial around the architecture, and then completely change the look again near the river.

For a couple who wants something elegant and romantic but still feels very Jacksonville, this one is hard to beat.

Epping Forest Yacht and Country Club

Epping Forest has that classic Florida estate feeling that photographs beautifully.

You have the water, historic architecture, huge trees, and so much greenery around the property.

Why Epping Forest Works So Well for Weddings

One thing I really love in a wedding venue is having multiple beautiful spaces without needing to constantly move everyone around.

That gives us variety in your photographs while still letting the day feel relaxed.

And honestly, anything that means you spend less of your wedding day sitting in a car is a win in my book.

The Ribault Club

If you love the old Florida look, The Ribault Club is such a beautiful option.

The oak trees, water, historic building, and greenery give the property a really romantic feel without making it feel overly formal.

Why I Love This Style of Venue

This is the kind of place where you can create those beautiful, intentional portraits and then five minutes later have completely candid photographs of everyone hanging out together.

That mix is exactly what I want from a wedding gallery.

The Glass Factory

The Glass Factory is completely different from the first few venues, which is exactly why I wanted it on this list.

It is open, industrial, and gives you so much freedom to make the space feel like you.

Why The Glass Factory Is Such a Good Blank Canvas

If you care a lot about design, florals, lighting, and the overall look of your reception, having a space you can really transform can be amazing.

It is especially beautiful for couples who are drawn to something a little more modern and editorial.

Ponte Vedra Inn and Club

If you want your wedding to feel more like an entire weekend together, I love the idea of a Ponte Vedra resort wedding.

There is something really special about having everyone you love in one place for more than just a few hours.

Why I Love the Wedding Weekend Experience

Welcome drinks the night before. Getting ready without driving all over town. Your actual wedding. Breakfast together the next morning.

You get more time with your people, and that is always something I am going to be a fan of.

Planning Your Jacksonville Wedding

At the end of the day, choose the place that feels like you.

I want you to have the beautiful venue and the incredible portraits and all of the little details you spent forever choosing.

But I also want you to actually experience it.

Go hug your grandma. Have the drink. Take the shot with your friends. Stay on the dance floor.

Your people. Your vision. Your wedding.

Feel deeply. Celebrate fully.

I will make sure you have the photos to remember all of it.

Planning a Jacksonville wedding? I would love to hear what you are dreaming up.

FEEL DEEPLY. CELEBRATE FULLY.

Hey Im olivia, your jacksonville wedding photographer

Wedding photographer, people-taker-care-of-er, and firm believer that beautiful photographs shouldn't come at the expense of actually enjoying your wedding.

I love the intentionality of weddings...the florals chosen months ago, the dress you couldn't stop thinking about, the tables you've imagined filled with everyone you love.
But what keeps me coming back are the things no one planned.

Your mom's face when she sees you dressed for the first time. Your best friend completely losing it during her toast. Your grandparents dancing. The hug that lasts a little longer than expected.

Family is at the center of my own life, and it's shaped the way I photograph yours.

I'll give you direction when you need it, take care of the details I can, and make sure you feel comfortable and confident along the way.

Because years from now, I don't just want you to remember how beautiful everything was.

I want you to remember how good it felt.
